mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, the prudent, and the ancient, the captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counsellor, and the
cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

unto their soul! For they have rewarded evil unto themselves…
  • “As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. The Lord standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. The Lord will enter into
judgement with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.”

Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layette hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil…For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; even unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

  • Isa 58—if thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord.
